Mad Catz Challenges Ouya with New ‘Project Mojo’ Android Gaming Console

Ouya turned few heads around when it first came out as the first Android gaming console. Now a few other companies are seeking to enter this trending gaming industry by making more consoles that brings Android games to the living room. Mad Catz is the latest to come to the battle with their own Android gaming console dubbed as “Project Mojo”.

Project Mojo has a minimalist, box-like design that packs a lof of features like Micro USB and HDMI output. As seen on an IGN video,  this console has been made to go along with Mad Catz’s popular gaming peripherals. Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore will be providing the games for this console, along with the ability to play games that users already have.

Well-known computer peripheral maker Mad Catz‘s this new approach will determine if they are up for making a serious game-changing device and overcome Ouya and it’s flaws.

Mad Catz will show-off this console at E3 next week, with plans to out the device in Q4 2013.
