Last week they were still looking red but as they get closer to blooming they are looking more and more pink. But a deep pink, not a light and frilly pastel pink. The kind of pink I will be able to live with. Considering there are four peonies all the same, and not many pother plants that came with these gardens, it would be a shame to give them the old heave ho.***
