The texture of the lipstick is really matte but still not drying. It smooths on the lips and gives the prettiest red possible. 

The staying power of Mac Retro Matte Ruby Woo is absolutely incomparable. It stays for almost the entire day. There is transfer but the shade never fades away. It is such a stunning red that you really dont need much makeup when you are wearing it. My lips feel like suede and looks gorgeous throughout the day.
