MAALA is my favorite and least favorite kind of musical discovery — you fall in love with a vocal and a beat immediately, then quickly learn that there isn’t much more out on the internet (when, of course, all you want is to hear more). “Touch” is a worthy debut track, full of enough soulful sensuality and vocal integrity to make him a suitable wing man for Chet Faker.
