The double-album, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, is a long awaited release from M83, one that’s already earned a great deal of buzz as a “must-own” since it became available for streaming online. This duo-disc set is a follow up to M83’s fifth and most successful album, 2008’s Saturdays=Youth. Offering creative textural soundscapes and a definite throwback vibe, nearly any audiophile will be able to appreciate the arrangements packed into this album.

It’s Real – Real Estate

Their debut, self-titled LP gained them a very loyal fanbase who swear by the band’s beachy lo-fi sounds. With their newest release, Days, Real Estate has retained that that same instrumental tone and lyrical theme. Check out the album if you’re into hazy, chill-rock with nostalgic undertones — they’ve certainly delivered something you’ll appreciate.

Weekend – Class Actress

Elizabeth Harper, who performs under the moniker Class Actress, has been making music for years, but her songs are relatively new to the indie music scene. Rapprocher, her newest release, is already being coined as a modern-day Madonna record, though. Featuring Harper’s sultry yet angelic vocals layered over classic electronic tracks, it retains an upbeat sound but isn’t afraid to reach into a slightly darker side from time to time.

Also check out new releases from Kimya Dawson, My Brightest Diamond, and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin.
