I hope you guys are good, safe and healthy. It’s been a crazy month. The pandemic situation all over the world, strict lockdown in India, Ramadan and eid in the lockdown and my first eid after my nikah in the lockdown away from family. It’s kinda overwhelming, new experience but I am back at reviewing the products. It feels so good to blog again.
I received these saffron range skincare products before lockdown but then didn’t review because anyway people wouldn’t be able to order them. So I have previously reviewed luxurious adore saffron range on my blog and you might be confused why am I reviewing them again?
Luxurious adore has revamped their entire saffron range and has also included a couple of extra skincare products in this range. I absolutely loved their older saffron range now let’s see what’s the difference.

Luxurious Adore Saffron cleanser Review

The packaging of this entire range is changed. I mean they have improved the packaging and I love the current packaging compared to the previous one.
This comes in a plastic bottle with pump packaging.
It is colorless and has a runny consistency
I like new saffron cleanser. This is better than the older one in terms of consistency and the feel it gives after-wash.
This cleanser foams medium-ly and cleanses the face well leaving the skin soft and hydrated. It’s suitable for all skin types and the fragrance is not over powering.
I found the cleanser is good but doesn’t do anything extra.

Luxurious Adore Saffron toner Review

I loved this toner.
It is soothing and refreshes the mood and skin instantly.
It comes in a spray packaging so you can use it even as a face mist
It hydrates the skin as well
The spray of my bottle had some issues and it’s not working

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT and have been loving it ever since I was introduced to it.
I felt the saffron jelly is the same just the packaging us different. And thank god they didn’t change anything in saffron Jelly. Because that was JUST PERFECT and i wanted it to just like that.

How does it feel on the skin?
This is a transparent gel and when you try to blend it on your face, it turns watery and instantly hydrates the face. This has become my go-to moisturizer and I even use it under the makeup. I have been using it non-stop ever since I have received it.
Saffron has antifungal & anti-inflammatory properties. Plus it is rich in antioxidant, vitamins and helps in controlling acne.
It has a fragrance slightly on a stronger side but that doesn’t last after applying on the face. Their entire saffron range has this fragrance.
It didn’t clog the pores nor did I face any breakouts.
Do I recommend this?
If you have normal to oily skin then I really really realllyyy want you to try this. I will definitely be purchasing it again once it’s over. Oily skin people are gonna love it for sure. This is extremely light and nourishing. If you have normal skin then you will need a little more product. Dry skin people would require a moisturizer on top of it.

Luxurious Adore Saffron Elixir Review

It comes in a dark brown glass bottle with a dropper.
Difference between the new saffron elixir and older one
The consistency of the new luxurious adore saffron elixir (saffron serum) is runny while the older elixir was thick. Since it was thick, the serum used to set in the dropper and didn’t flow properly if not used regularly.
I personally loved the new one. Initially, the serum was colorless but eventually, it has turned into a light yellow-orange color which is fine. It contains saffron extract and Vitamin C which is the reason for the color change. But if your serum has turned brown then please stop using it right away. Because the effects are going to get reversed.
This serum makes my skin texture feel really good, instantly makes my skin soft and hydrated.
This elixir is lightweight, non-sticky, and has a mild fragrance.
It can be used during the day and night and gives a hydrated smooth base for your make-up.
Suitable for all skin types. And yeah I didn’t face any breakouts or sensitivity after using this.

Luxurious Adore saffron scrub (face scrub) review

It comes in a plastic tub and has a good mild fragrance.
How is it?
The face scrub has a hint of yellow color to it and has red beads. Those beads bursts and melts away as you start rubbing onto your skin. Saffrons are crushed to make those beads. These beads act as a mild scrub. They are soft yet effective in removing dry and superficial skin.
After washing off, it hydrates the skin really well and gives a soft and silky feel to your face.
I personally use chemical exfoliators and I don’t prefer physical exfoliation as it gives me breakouts and I feel scrubs are harsh on the skin. But this scrub isn’t harsh at all. This is definitely not your regular scrub.
If you’re someone who wants to try scrubs but are afraid of breakouts or if you have sensitive skin then you can definitely try this. This is going to be a good option for you.
If you have dry and flaky skin then this will hydrate and helo you get rid of dry skin

Luxurious Adore saffron mask (saffron face mask) Review

The package is same like the scrub but this face mask has a overpowering fragrance to it.
How is it?
The main ingredient of this mask is kaolin clay so basically it is a clay mask. I have oily T-zone so I am a big fan of clay masks. Clay masks are great to suck out dirt, oil and a good option for people with larger pores. It helps in keeping the pore clean.
This mask helps in soothing the skin and removing oil, dirt and impurities.
Post washing the face, I could feel a clean, supple, and hydrated skin. Their mask and scrub both makes the skin really soft. Usually the Clay masks causes dryness but this clay mask would not make your skin dry at all. That was what peculiar about it and that is what makes this mask a good option for people who has a combination of dry and acne-prone skin.
It also helps in calming down the skin
Suitable for all skin types and recommended for acne-prone skin too.
