Luxcurly By Adhi Auto Rotating Curling Iron – Review

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Hi everyone,

Today I have a review of a very exciting hair styling tool that not only is quick and easy to use but it delivers some amazing results, perfect for any occasion. The Luxcurly By Adhi Auto Rotating Curling Iron is a tool I’ve been reaching for quite a lot recently, not only to style my hair daily but also for special occasions.

Luxcurly offers the ‘Natural’ wand which I am reviewing today, as well as the Luxcurly ‘Classic’, a conical shaped wand that also rotates.luxcurly by adhi natural auto rotating curling ironI’m sure Luxcurly by Adhi is a new brand to many of you, so here is a little bit of information:

Luxcurly is a Sydney based company founded by a mother of 3 young children.

Being a mum, time is often more valuable than gold. Thus, I am always on the lookout for a beauty solution that can help minimize time consumption and easy to use. The auto rotating function can create luxurious curl in seconds. No more manual labor and no more burned hands.

Our mission is in helping women look great, effortlessly within minutes.

The Natural wand features a clamp and a 28mm ceramic coated tourmaline barrel which is a very versatile size, allowing you to still achieve either a tighter curl, or a more relaxed one. The wand features an LCD screen which displays the temperature (which can be adjusted within the range of between 100 – 220 degrees Celsius) and with a 360 degree 2.5 meter swivel cord, it allows the wand to be used so much more conveniently so if you dont have a powerpoint close to your bedroom mirror, you wont be forced into using a small makeup mirror as the 2.5m cord allows for easy movement!luxcurly by adhi natural auto rotating curling iron 3There are 5 buttons overall – a power button, a L and R to direct the rotating barrel and a – or + to adjust the temperature of the wand. The rubberised clip to release the clamp as well as the built in stand helps you avoid burning both your fingers and any furniture you lay the curler on. The barrel itself heats up quite quickly so you’re able to start styling your hair in a matter of 30 seconds and the barrel does not rotate unless you choose to press the L or R button and so you’re also able to use this curling iron the traditional way, if you wish.

I love the option of either having the barrel rotate to the left or to the right which allows you you really customise the final look of your curls and the barrel itself rotates at a very nice speed, neither too slow or too fast so you’re still in control when using the tool. Not having to manually wrap your hair around the wand also means that the chance of burning your hands decreases dramatically so if you’re someone who may not be too confident with heated styling tools, the Luxcurly would be perfect! The whole wand isn’t too heavy either and is really easy to grip and hold in the hand.

The 28mm barrel is a great moderate size that will still allow you to achieve defined curls or a more structured wave, whichever look you’re aiming for. For everyday, I like a more relaxed look which shows that I’ve put effort in but is still very easy to wear. To achieve my look below, I didn’t need to leave my hair on the wand for long at all but still produced lovely volume and shape to the hair!
