Lust Have It – September 2015 – Review

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

The September edition of the Lust Have It beauty box arrived on my doorstep last week and although it did arrive quite a few weeks late, I was pleasantly surprised with its jam packed contents!

The theme for this box was ‘On The Go’ and the products included fit in really well with this. The September bag features 7 products, 4 of which are full size and one being marked as a ‘bonus product’.

For those of you unfamiliar with Lust Have It, Lust Have It is a monthly beauty subscription box with the inclusion of 5-6 deluxe sized beauty items, priced at only $19.95 a month but if you use the code ‘TRIED1’ you can receive $5 off your first box!

The first product included was an OFRA lip liner in the shade Wine. I’ve tried a few products from the brand before (see reviews here, here and here) and have really enjoyed them. Although I’m not the biggest lip liner user, I am interested to see how this one will work.

I absolutely love nail polish removers in pot form so I’m excited to try the DB Cosmetics version. Their formula also includes royal jelly, aloe vera and green tea to help maintain the health of your nails.

I recently reviewed a White Glo Teeth Whitening System and was very impressed with it so receiving a back of of the White Glo Professional Choice Whitening Toothpaste is great as it’s something I will definitely use up.

As most will know, Kerastase is a real luxury hair care brand and included in this month’s bag was a shampoo and treatment masque from the brand. The mini sizes are perfect for when you’re traveling and on the go!

UB Cosmetics is a brand I’m not familiar with but their Tint Stick, a ’10 hour anti-feathering, water based, transfer proof formula’ lip product was included. Unfortunately I received the product in a purple shade which isn’t a color I would usually wear.

The bonus product this month was a Your Tea Skin Magic Tea. The information card states that there should be 6 tea bags included but I actually only received one. I do really love drinking tea but I wonder if drinking this tea will yield any benefits for my skin!

Overall, I think this is a nice bag of products that fit in well with the theme. There’s a great range of different products and I can see a lot of people being able to use all of the items included this month. The value of the contents is great but I do feel as though there could’ve been a ‘wow’ product included to elevate the bag.

What are your thoughts on this month’s bag?
