Hi everyone,
The September Lust Have It bag arrived at my doorstep today so I thought I’d quickly pop up a review. Obviously, it is now October so unfortunately last month’s bag was sent out late, however I am impressed with the contents and I’m sure all beauty box subscribers know that sadly, more often than not, the boxes do arrive late and so it’s not too big an issue to me nowadays! P.S I didn’t receive an info card so I wont be able to include prices of the products in this post.
For those of you unfamiliar with Lust Have It, Lust Have It is a monthly beauty subscription box with the inclusion of 5-6 deluxe sized beauty items, priced at only $19.95 a month but if you use the code ‘TRIED’ you can receive $5 off your first box!
Now let’s have a look at the September bag!
Model Co Skincare Samples
Model Co recently launched their skincare line and I do like that all the samples included are able to be used for all skin types and it’s a great way to try out some of the products (even though they are sachet samples which I am not a fan of!). The samples are of the Exfoliating Cream Facial Scrub, Instant Miracle Booster, Double Sided Facial Wipe and Soothing Moisturiser.
Uriage Extra Rich Dermatological Cleansing Gel
I’ve only ever tried Uriage through beauty boxes but I do quite like their products. The consistency of this cleanser is quite liquid and it’s suitable to be used both on the face and body. These small sample bottles are great to keep on hand for when you go away for a weekend!
The Cosmetic Kitchen Macadamia Wax Creme Highlighter. FULL SIZE.
On first glace, I thought that this was a lip product until I read the label and it is in fact a highlighter! The shade I received is a pearlescent, shimmery pinky gold shade and the product is dispensed through a doe foot applicator which is interesting! I look forward to seeing how this shade works on my fairer skin tone.
Glam by Manicare Express! 3 in 1 Nail Art Pen. FULL SIZE.
I own quite a few of these in different shades and I absolutely love them because they make doing nail art so easy! Each pack comes with a nail art pen with a nail polish applicator and finer tip for nail art, jewels and nail art stencils. The nail polish formula itself actually lasts quite well on the nails and has an almost gel like feel.
Urban Skincare Co. Repair+ Body Balm. FULL SIZE.
As far as I’m aware, this is a new skincare company that I’ve seen pop up quite a few times recently so I’m very excited to try their Repair+ Body Balm. It contains calcium and magnesium as well as coriander oil and soybean that protect and renew the skin. This brand is Australian owned.
Model Co Lip Lacquer Liquid Lipstick. FULL SIZE.
I know some people aren’t a fan of Model Co products and they do seem to frequent a lot of different beauty subscription boxes but I dont really have an issue with that as I like trying new products from all brands. I received the shade Fire Red which is a gorgeous classic red that’s very vibrant. The product looks super glossy and it’s said to be long wearing with intense colour. It also smells amazing – like strawberry lollies and I think the shade would be perfect for a night out.
Overall, I think that the September bag had an amazing mix of products from skincare to cosmetics and nails. The mix of brands will definitely allow me to try products from brands I wouldn’t necessarily frequently access plus enjoying some old favourites and most, if not all the products would appeal to the LHI subscribers. With 4 full size products and a handful of samples, I am very happy with the box!
