Lust Have It – November 2014 – Review

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Hi everyone,

Happy to report this month that the November LHI bag arrived on time so it’s wonderful to see LHI back on track in terms of shipping out the bags. Mine was posted Express and I received it on Tuesday morning. This month there are some nice inclusions in the box with 6 individual products and 5 of them being full size so the value of the overall bag is great!

For those of you unfamiliar with Lust Have It, Lust Have It is a monthly beauty subscription box with the inclusion of 5-6 deluxe sized beauty items, priced at only $19.95 a month but if you use the code ‘TRIED’ you can receive $5 off your first box!

Essenzza Fuss Free Natural Japanese Facial Treatment Masks. RRP: $4.95 per Mask. Received 2 Masks.

I enjoyed using the Fuss Free facial wipes that were included in a previous LHI bag and I love using sheet masks so I can’t wait to give these masks a go! I received the Carrot Seed and Coconut Oil variety to smooth the skin’s texture and provide hydration which is one of my favorite types of masks to use.

The Cosmetic Kitchen Pressed Mineral Blush. RRP: $34.95. Received FULL SIZE.

In the past, there have been quite a few The Cosmetic Kitchen products featured in LHI boxes and this month, we received a pressed mineral blush in a very pretty natural shade. I like the matte black packaging (though it can get a little dirty when stored in a makeup bag) and the lovely large mirror which is so helpful for any makeup application when you’re out.

So Susan Water Based Pure Luminiser. RRP: $35.00. Received FULL SIZE.

As a lover of highlighters for the skin and achieving a natural glow, I was looking forward to trying this product, however when I unscrewed the lid of the tube, I found that the tip of the tube had been ripped apart which had caused a lot of product to leak into the lid itself and the tube seemed quite empty so that was very disappointing. It seems like quite a few others have also experienced similar issues with this product judging by some Facebook posts so I will contact LHI to let them know about my issue and will keep you all updated.

Aveda Color Conserve Daily Color Protect. RRP: $49.95 for 100g. Received 10g Sample.

I have to admit, I struggle to use the Aveda samples I’ve received from any subscription boxes because they are just so small in quantity that I’m unable to get 1 full use out of them so I do like that this sample is considerably larger than the usual dropper style packaged sample from Aveda.

Natralus Paw Paw Pure Gel 30ml. RRP: $6.15. Received FULL SIZE.

I’ve used the Paw Paw Ointment from this brand in the past and really liked it so I hope that this Paw Paw Pure Gel will work just as well! Any type of Paw Paw Ointment/Gel is such a handy product to have because it can be used in a multitude of ways and all over the body.

Overall, I think this is a nice box from LHI. I think that they’ve really taken into consideration the hot weather and soon to be Summer months and have included some great products to have and use during this time. The cosmetic products they’ve included are all quite light and natural to suit the Summer-ish theme and the masks will be a welcome relief from the heat when used! (my tip is to put the masks in the fridge for a while on a hot day and then apply to the face for an amazing cool down and relaxing effect). I’m sad that the So Susan product arrived damaged but hopefully this issue will be worked out!

What are your thoughts on this month’s bag?
