Last month I was lucky enough to have been sent a Lust Have It FaB box to review for you all! The FaB box is a combination fashion and beauty subscription box from Lust Have It that is priced at $35 a month but is valued at over $100.
Onto the month’s box and what I received!
Although Model Co is a brand that appears in numerous beauty and fashion subscription boxes, I am happy to see a variation of the products that are included. I received a matte and a cream finish lipstick in the shades Smitten and Truffle. I’ve never tried a Model Co lipstick before but I have heard some great things about the formulation. I also like the addition of a small mirror on the cap to allow for easy on the go touch ups.
There were a number of Boe nail polish shades included in this month’s box but I received the base and top coat nail polish which is of course, clear. I do think that I actually prefer this clear shade instead of the other shades of offer because it is useful. Boe is a budget beauty brand stocked in Big W and I’ve yet to try any of the products from the line so I look forward to seeing how this fares against some other nail polish brands.
There were 2 jewelry items included in the box this month, one being this beautiful long gold necklace with a tear drop and circle built in pendants. As I wear a lot of monochrome outfits, my accessories of choice are always gold or silver and I particularly like longer necklaces to add a little something extra to a simple outfit as its appropriate for every day or for when I’m going out.
The second jewelry item was a dainty gold bracelet with a cross. I think it’s a very understated a simple piece that can be worn every day.
The standout product in this month’s FaB box for me has to be the beautiful coral envelope clutch with a gold clasp. The clutch is made of a textured material and can also be used with straps as a long gold chain strap is included. Adding a pop of color to an outfit for the evening is so easy with a clutch like this and I really appreciate the size of the clutch as it’ll allow you to fit a substantial amount of essential items!
I was really impressed with this box as I think there’s a wonderful mix of fashion and beauty products! The stand out for me was the beautiful clutch which I will definitely get quite a lot of use out of. The jewelry pieces are a great combination and can be worn together or alone and the mix of a more subtle piece, like the bracelet and a statement piece like the necklace is great as the mix will be able to suit those with different tastes. Although there were 2 lipsticks from Model Co, they’re products from the brand that we don’t usually see included in a normal beauty box and I received some gorgeous shades. The Boe beauty nail varnish is a nice extra and I look forward to seeing how the quality is in regards to their line!
