Lust Have It – December 2014 – Review

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Hi everyone,

My Lust Have It for December arrived this morning, just in time for Christmas so I hope those subscribed receive theirs soon too! This month’s bag comes in a red colour, instead of pink (which I assume is for the festive season!) and the bag was again quite full this month which was very nice with 4 out of the 5 products full size whilst the other is a very generously sized product.

For those of you unfamiliar with Lust Have It, Lust Have It is a monthly beauty subscription box with the inclusion of 5-6 deluxe sized beauty items, priced at only $19.95 a month but if you use the code ‘TRIED’ you can receive $5 off your first box!

The Cosmetic Kitchen Raw Chocolate Bath Salts. RRP: $18.50. Received FULL SIZE.

Unfortunately I dont own a bath but the rock salt and raw cacao mixture used to form this product is said to block free radicals and detoxify. All Cosmetic Kitchen products are not tested on animals, are made in Australia and are Vegan friendly.

Lonvitalite C1 Facial Mask. RRP: $9.95. Received FULL SIZE.

I’m a huge fan of Lonvitalite masks as they just really work! They’re so easy to use, and really make a difference to your skin in terms of hydration and texture and I’ll definitely be using this mask on Christmas Eve to prepare for the 25th!

Inika Pure Primer. RRP: $60 for 50ml. Received 30ml Deluxe Sample.

This has to be my favorite product from the bag this month as I love Inika products. This Pure Primer is made from 81% certified organic ingredients and the formula not only aids the application and longevity of your foundation but also helps protect and hydrate the skin.

Designer Brands Extend A Brow. RRP: $12.99. Received FULL SIZE.

This product is quite interesting as it isn’t a typical brow gel, it’s instead physical silky fibers in the tube which you then brush onto the brows to ‘correct, define and thicken brows’. I received the Light Medium shade which isn’t too light but I think it may work better for my darker brows when used under my normal brow gel.

The Cosmetic Kitchen Raw Chocolate Clay Mask. RRP: $24.95. Received FULL SIZE.

This very finely milled Clay Mask only contains 2 ingredients: Pink Australian Clay and Raw Cacao Powder and is to be mixed with avocado, oil and water to produce a paste before being applied to the face. Unlike most clay masks which draw impurities out, this mask acts as an antioxidant mask, giving the skin a glow.

I’m really impressed with LHI this month! I really like the inclusion of the 3 skincare items which are all quite relaxing and perfect to use to unwind after the festive season, the inclusion of the Inika Pure Primer was a real winner for me and the Designer Brands Extend A Brow is quite an interesting product I look forward to giving a go and seeing how it works. A very full bag this month which a great range of brands and products! The inclusion of the more natural products is a great step as many become more conscious of the products and ingredients they place on their skins.

What are your thoughts on this month’s bag?
