These pictures are from just yesterday. Husband and I were invited to taste the summer menu at Taylor Gourmet. They recently opened a new location at Pike & Rose, my favorite hangout place. This was my first time eating at Taylor Gourmet. I tried their Persol and Cumberland, both of which were delicious. My husband tried the CR7 and Memphis Raines, and he too found both of them equally flavorsome. We really couldn't pick a favorite! Their breads are fresh baked and delivered daily, and were one of the best I have had on a sandwich. All their ingredients are locally sourced and they create their own sauces, spreads and dressings. Everything tasted fresh and crunchy! They have a ton of choices for salads and sandwiches only $7.99 for a regular and the portions are large enough that you can eat half and save the rest for later.  We also decided to get salads to-go for dinner. Because, Sunday! Who wants to cook? Right? I picked the Elenor (Arugula, Watermelon, Feta Cheese, Candied Almonds, Cucumber, Red Onion, Mint and Lemon Vinaigrette and husband got the Columbus (Shredded Kale, Grape Tomato, Roasted Corn, Red Pepper, Half-Avocado, Smoky Bacon, Red Onion, Black Pepper Parmesan Dresses). Don't the ingredients itself are making your mouth water? Watermelon & Almonds on my salad just took it a notch higher.  Apparently, they change their menu seasonally which definitely makes it interesting to back and try new things. Eric and his team were friendly, and the service was fast and efficient. Taylor Gourmet has interesting art work and a casual-industrial decor which as you can see in the picture made for a lovely photo back drop. It is a great addition to Pike & Rose and I cannot wait to go back and try their next season's menu.
