{Love the Little Things}

By Glasgow_mummy @glasgow_mummy
butwhymummywhyIt's Friday, and that means it's time for Morgana's Love The Little Things linky :)
Watched
We watched the second film in The Hunger Games trilogy, Catching Fire which is now on Netflix. I really enjoyed it, but gutted that I now need to wait for the final instalment!

Read
{Love the little things}
I read Grazia on the ferry back from Mull. I had taken my book with me (Gone Girl) which I'm still yet to start! This weekend I am child-free with zero plans & I plan to relax and make the most of it...definitely a good time to start that book :)
Heard
I always struggle with this prompt, as I'm not normally one for listening to music so much. I drive to and from work with the radio on (Clyde One) and will occasionally stick on one of my playlists (full of cheesy music) if I'm doing housework.
What I have heard this week is my son's crazy accent. And I thought I had a bizarre one! He's got what I can only describe as a put on uber-posh English accent when he says 'No', 'I don't know' or 'so'... etc. I've no idea where he's picked it up from. Kids are total sponges aren't they!
Wore
{Love the little things}
I dug out my North Face boots from my wardrobe now that the colder weather is here. These are ideal as they keep my tootsies nice & cosy, which is important given my Raynaud's Disease.
Made
{Love the little things}
We made banana, choc chip & marshmallow cupcakes. I managed to only eat one! As soon as they were cool we bagged them up for the neighbours & our childminder. This then meant I wasn't tempted to eat more! Normally I'd have scoffed the lot!! I  used the recipe for banana and choc chip muffins which you'll find here but I halved the quantity of chocolate and threw in a few handfuls of mini marshmallows. They were yum!
I also made a courgette & lime cake to take into my work...

And lastly...

Isn't this wee patchwork stag door stop just adorable - thank you R for buying it for me. It fits in perfectly with my living room theme. We've decided to call it Argyll. Thank you to pauline1978 on Instagram for the suggestion. He was bought in Tobermory, in Argyll & Bute, so it's a very fitting Scottish name for the fella!
