Love the Aveda Dry Remedy Range

Happy Sunday!! Today I’m sharing my thoughts on something I’ve been really loving - the Aveda Dry Remedy Range! I felt so privileged and excited when the lovely people from Aveda asked if I wanted to try out this range of hair care. The Aveda Dry Remedy range consists of shampoo, conditioner, masque and moisturising oil. Using all four products will make your hair incredibly soft and silky. I started seeing the difference after a week.

Aveda is the first prestige company to incorporate new packaging material by combining post-consumer recycled material and bioplastic in its Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner and Masque tubes. The new packaging was launched on the 19th of January 2014, available through Aveda Salons, Aveda Experience Centre retail stores and online.

Aveda dry remedy moisturizing shampoo

Aveda dry remedy moisturizing conditioner

Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo 250ml $50 & Conditioner 200ml $50

These two amazing bottles of goodness moisturised my hair, leaving it really soft and conditioned. The shampoo didn’t leave my roots oily and my scalp actually loved it. The conditioner is best used from mid to the ends of your hair. As it is quite moisturising, it can cause oiliness. The shampoo lathered up quite well and rinsed out really easily too. One of the things I’m loving is that this shampoo detangled my hair, it’s no longer a struggle to comb out my hair. When I first used the shampoo & conditioner, the first thing I noticed was the herbal scent. Some may not like it but I loved it, reminds me of the smell of fancy hair salons. Both packaging dispensed products quite easily and I had no problems with it.

Aveda dry remedy moisturizing masque

Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Masque 150ml $55

I love using the Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Masque at the end of the day after I’ve curled my hair. My hair always feels dry and brittle from all the heat damage and hairspray. I find that since I’ve started using the moisturizing masque, my hair recovers quicker. The packaging is in a squeezy bottle/tube and product is dispensed quite easily.
Aveda dry remedy daily moisturizing oil

Aveda Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil 30ml $40

Aveda Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil is derived from 99.9% natural ingredients and is silicone free. It is a daily leave-in treatment and the key ingredient is Buriti oil which is known for its powerful hydration properties. I rubbed in about 4 drops in between my palms and over the ends of my hair. The texture of this is more watery than a traditional oil treatment. It doesn’t leave your hands or hair with a greasy residue after applying. I quite like the packaging in a small glass bottle with a dropper that doesn’t waste any product at all.

Over the last four weeks, my hair is now definitely in better condition. My hair is majority tangle free and I can leave my hair down everyday. I can see that my hair is now more shiny and less dull looking. I guess with good quality products, comes a bigger price tag. I don’t know if I could ever go back to supermarket shampoo and conditioners now! If you have dry hair, definitely check out Aveda Dry Remedy Range!

Have you used any Aveda haircare products?

The Aveda Dry Remedy Range was sent to me for consideration. I am not obligated to post a review. If I do post, it means it’s total awesomeness.
