The Victoria Secret ad is fine in representing the thin people of this world…that have one body type..but as a curvy girl formerly on the thin team…even thin women have various …frames…statures…heights etc…the ad is highly unrealistic reality for a majority of the population on any size team!!
The only diversity I see in the VS models ad is the color of the token minority models skin tones….

I will stop you there readers…lets take a deep breath and google the definition of Diversity for a moment shall we

Dove on the other hand has various shapes…skin tones…heights…curves in different places…… there is even a woman with a large Mole on her leg!! The bottom ad gives a more realistic idea of what women’s bodies look like
diverse and beautiful in every form, yes I agree they fall into the normal and curvy category, however I enjoy the variety!
The chances of women self identifying with either of the ads is higher with Dove which Im sure is the purpose of the casting of women from a diverse group.
It would be nice to see more cellulite and stretch marks and some luvly lady lumps ..some BBW figures would be dreamy!!
but i digress…
P.s. In case you are wondering I am now on Team Body acceptance…all bodies are created equal!!!
