Hello everyone!
It’s Friday!!!!
although I don’t have college today and I’ve already started my weekend, but still Friday brings a happy feeling, no?I attended an event organized by Lotus Herbals yesterday. It was conducted to launch the Safe Sun Ultra Sunblock SPF100 PA+++. The event was a very casual event, held in Barista Lavazza, Defence Colony market. It was the first meet of this sort I’ve attended and let me tell you, I loved it
The other bloggers who were there were Shalini from bbeautilicious.com, Awungshi from drpoisonivy.blogspot.in and Agnibanya from agnibanya.blogspot.in. I was meeting the other bloggers for the first time but felt very comfortable with them all as all three of them are just too sweet
The Lotus team also made us all feel very comfortable, they were all super friendly and that made the event a success.
They first gave us a gift bag with the new Safe Sun sunblock and a Lotus Purestay Cosmetics gift box.
We checked out the sunblock and its first impression on me is great. I have used Lotus sunscreens and very excited to use this new one and plus, I love the pump packaging; I’ll review it properly once I’ve used it regularly for a substantial period of time.
The gift box contains these –
Over lunch, the lotus team briefed us about the sunblock and also told us a lotttt about sun protection in general. I loved the discussion as it was very informative, I got to know a lot of new things.
I’ll tell you all about the discussion and major points I feel we all need to know in a separate post as in this post I’m only sharing about the event.
We were also shown the new shades in Lotus’ color dew nail paints which are yet to be launched – the shades were very pretty.
Here’s a pic from Awungshi’s blog –
I loveeed the mintish-green and the pinkish – coral, will definitely get these as soon as they’re launched!

A few more pictures that Awungshi has posted on her blog, you can see more pics of the event on her blog here.

Overall, the event was great fun, loved meeting the Lotus team and the bloggers. I have read their blogs and meeting them in person felt so awesome
