Words are simply magic! Every language has its own beauty, isn't it? People who can understand various languages are real lucky as they have the advantage of discovering talents and works at large. It also happens that if we like a certain work in a certain language and want many others, not acquainted with that language to enjoy the life in it, they translate it in an understandable language for them.
But! There are a many words which we can say, are lost in translation, and do not own an equivalent for them in any other language. Curious to know what are they and in which language and what do they mean?

Today's Lost in Translation word is: Toska
Russian - Vladmir Nabokov describes it best: "No single word in English renders all the shades of toska. At its deepest and most painful, it is a sensation of great spiritual anguish, often without any specific cause. At less morbid levels it is a dull ache of the soul, a longing with nothing to long for, a sick pining, a vague restlessness, mental throes, yearning. In particular cases it may be the desire for somebody or something specific, nostalgia, love-sickness. At the lowest level it grades into ennui, boredom."
