Los Coast Arrive with Their Track ‘Summer Samaritan’ [Stream]

After a rainy start to spring here on the East Coast, “Summer Samaritan”, the new track by Austin trio Los Coast, is just the sunshine we need. Since creating a strong following from their debut 2015 album, Viola, the band has expanded their reach even further, even landing on the Austin City Limits lineup for the fall.

The vocals from lead singer Trey Privott are fresh and tingly and on this track, reminiscent of the crisp and resonating sounds of Jack White, and differ somewhat from their more soulful, peppy sound on other songs. That versatility and experience with genre blending is exactly what we dig about them — they provide a unique sound all their own, and it’s really, really good.
