I’ve had Loreal Advanced Care Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm for a month or two now. I wanted to ensure I had enough information to give it a really thorough review. So how did it measure up?

This hair mask is for anyone with damaged hair whether it’s breakage, heat damage, split ends, etc. It’s also great for anyone wanting to maintain their healthy hair.

product claims

Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm is a reconstructing balm that repairs up to one year of damage in 1 use. The balm instantly repairs the 5 signs of damage – split ends, weakness, roughness, dullness, and dehydration.

does it really reverse one year of damage instantly?

I’ve used Loreal Advanced HairCare Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm about 5 times in the course of two months. I use it once per week as a deep conditioning treatment. It leaves my hair soft and shiny. And, honestly, you hair does look and feel healthier after the first use. I won’t go as far as saying it reverses one year’s worth of damage. But I will say that for the price ($6.99), it is definitely worth trying out.

whipped pudding for your hair!

Loreal Advanced Care Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm is a super, thick and creamy conditioner. In fact, it looks a lot like pudding. I typically apply a generous amount to my hair right before taking a shower and leave in for about 5 to 10 minutes. It washes out easily and doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy or oily.

Loreal Advanced Care line has several products that address different hair issues: damaged hair, dry hair, frizzy hair, color-treated hair. You can mix and match products from the different lines to find the combination that’s right for your hair’s condition. The pricing on these products couldn’t be better. The Loreal Advanced Care Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm could have easily sold for $10 to $15.

The verdict.

I would recommend Loreal Advanced Care Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm to anyone wanting to deep condition their hair on a regular basis. It’s a great, cost-effective product to help maintain healthy hair. It’s not a miracle product. It’s more of a preventative product. With regular use, you should see more moisturized hair with less breakage.
