Lords of the Fallen has been set to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 31, according to Square Enix. The fantasy action-RPG is the latest in a long line of titles to elect for what's swiftly becoming a very busy time of the year. Numerous publications have likened Lords of the Fallen to Dark Souls, thanks to its deep combat that allows for environmental takedowns, an aesthetic that blends the best of horror and fantasy, as well as, of course, difficult combat.
Announced last year, Lords of the Fallen is the new project from ex-Witcher producer Tomasz Gop. Lords of the Fallen has billed itself as “Borderlands meets Dark Souls.”
