The melodically talented LA band, Local Natives, released their second full length album, Hummingbird, this past January, and after the single “You & I” gained much love from audiences, we now have an ‘insightful’ video clip to match. As a warning, though, this video may be difficult for some viewers. The scene is set in an emergency hospital room with a young family preparing for the death of their closest companion: their family dog. It’s not just any old family dog though — it’s the last canine on Earth. In an intense four minutes, with newspaper headlines following the story closely, the dog is finally laid to rest. But don’t fear readers! There are puppy investigators on the scene looking for doggy relatives. Will they be successful or will they eventually be living in a puppy-free world? All I’ll say is, doggy lovers, be warned.
