If Victorias friends hadn’t convinced her to go to a party 5 years ago to the day, November 8th, 2012 would have been very different. Lee and Victoria are one of the most excited couples I have met on a wedding day. Lee welcomed me with a glass of Champagne which is always a great way to start a wedding!
The whole day was held at the Liverpool Athenaeum. A fantastic venue right in the heart of the city. Apart from the limo drivers getting lost and all the bridesmaids having to run through the Christmas shoppers, everything went perfectly. In addition to their civil ceremony, Victoria and Lee had a blessing with the same priest that baptised their two boys. It was a lovely extra touch to the ceremony.
Dinner was super relaxed and I was honoured to be asked to sit on the table with the bride and groom. This was also the first time I had ever heard of or eaten a dish called ‘Scouse’!
The day continued to be relaxed and fun. The speeches were very entertaining and this was followed by a great swing singer before the DJ entertained everyone.
This was my first wedding and in fact my first time in Liverpool. I felt so welcomed by everyone and look forward to going back in the future. Feel free to leave a comment or a message below.
