I am very glad I went on vacation, but I am sad that I have not posted a new exhibit in over a month! Today we resume Larry Tremblay‘s guest exhibits with another Electric Tiki Design Teeny Weeny Mini-maquette.
Today’s figurine of Little Lotta is not a convention or store exclusive limited edition, but what is known as an Artist Proof. This would be a small batch made so that the artists at Electric Tiki could examine how their sculpting and painting translated to the finished product before the actual batch was run. In the case of Lotta, according to the images, 30 Artist Proofs were made, then the actual batch was 500. Electric Tiki mentions on their website that in many cases 15-25 Artist Proofs are produced, so Lotta got a few extra.
