On Saturday, TORRES posted an unreleased demo track, “Dream Dream”, via her Facebook page. The sparse acoustic track is one of loneliness and leaving, but never really escaping. “New York wants me more than this place. New York don’t want me at all. New York’s the woman with no grace. I think I’ll try Brooklyn in the fall.” The currently Nashville-based TORRES is, in fact, literally trying Brooklyn this fall, which will no doubt take her in and nurture her already burgeoning career — the girl is a time bomb.
