One of our absolute favorites, Daughter, just dropped another chill-inducing cover, this time of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky”. The original may be disco-fabulous and feature Pharrell Williams, but this version is stripped and striking like only Daughter can manage. The slower, more restrained cover hits your ears from a whole new angle, going from dance jam to insightful and melancholy —  and Daughter does melancholy better than anyone else.
