I love the look of lipstick, but it seems like I'm constantly re-applying it throughout the day. Or, worse, I just give up or get too busy and don't apply it at all! That's why I was really anxious to try LipSense products from Red Gate Beauty! They are said to be "long-lasting, waterproof, smudge-proof and kiss-proof"!So, how is LipSense different from other lip-color providers? Their system actually consists of two products, which should be used together to get the full, lasting effect. The first product is the LipSense Long-Lasting Liquid Lip Color. This gets applied to clean, dry lips in 3 layers, waiting 10 seconds between application of each layer. Then, 5 seconds after applying the third layer of color, it's time to apply the LipSense Moisturizing Gloss. This seals in the color and provides moisture. The gloss can also be reapplied throughout the day if desired.
This may seem like more work at first to apply four different layers, but the results are well worth it! After applying the LipSense products as directed, my lips looked just as colorful throughout the day, even after eating meals! And I loved the color selection. There are currently 40 lip colors and 11 glosses available! I opted for the Aussie Rose Lip Color (seen at right) and Rose Gloss, and they were perfect together! You can select any combination of colors and glosses. Or have some fun and use different colors for different layers. There are practically endless combinations!And LipSense products are good for your lips. They're lead-free, wax-free, gluten-free, vegan, kosher, and never tested on animals.
