Like Father, Like Son: L.T. and L.T.J.

This story completely intrigues me.  More from a psychological standard.  The whole nature vs. nurture, and if certain gene's run in families.  We know that certain diseases run in families and that has to do with gene's, but what about the violent offender gene?  There has to be one because I've read so many father/son or brother/brother murder stories it's unbelievable.Let's start from the beginning.  In 2009, L.T. (Lawrence Taylor for those not in the know) was a still well known ex-NFL linebacker because he was an amazing athlete. However, on November 8th of that year, L.T. was arrested by the Miami-Dade Police for a hit and run.  He hit a vehicle and left the scene.  That was his second hit and run by the way, but since it didn't involve another vehicle he didn't think it mattered if he left the scene.  Six months later, L.T. was arrested again, but this time it was much more serious.  He was charged with Felony Third Degree Statutory rape for allegedly having sex with someone under the age of 17, she was 16. He also paid her $300 for sex which gave him additional charges of Third Degree Patronization.  He ended up pleading, of course, and didn't serve a day in jail.  He received probation and yadda yadda, but had to register as a sex offender. Now let's bring us up to date with L.T.J. (Lawrence Taylor, Jr.).  I guess he had to out do his dad to be in the spotlight because on July 6, 2013 did some inexplicable things to underage girls.  A warrant was put out for his arrest because the FIRST girl called the police immediately after.  This all went down in Georgia.  Everyone knows the song The Devil went Down to Georgia and L.T.J tried with all his might and then force his way down between a young girl's' thighs.  According to the accuser L.T.J. continually over and over kept asking her if he could (I'm going to keep this PG) go down on her over and over and she kept saying no.  He of course used a more common term for "going down".  Finally, he just forced her legs open, moved her bathing suit, and started doing it.  This girl was under the age of 16.  Then a SECOND girl at the party told police that she had had sex with L.T. J. about 5 times around February of 2012.  This second girl was also underage.  L.T.J. was hit with a multitude of charges:  Aggravated Sodomy, Child Molestation (for the forced oral sex), and Statutory Rape just like daddy did for the second accuser.  Those are three Felonies.  The first two charges I mentioned carries a 25 to life sentence if he is convicted of just one of them.  The Statutory Rape charge comes with a 1 to 20 years behind bars.  I don't understand how anyone can get one year for that, but I'm thinking these circumstances will warrant a hefty sentence, even if he pleads out, which I guarantee he will.I hope he gets what he deserves for what he did to innocent little girls, and doesn't glide away like his daddy did.  Doubt they have any money for the big gun lawyers since daddy sucked that all away with his various crimes over the years. This saga will continue and I will most definitely be keeping an eye on it!Peace, love, and butterflies...Follow me on Twitter @buttrfly7740xoxo
