*This post is sponsored by Carex*If there is one thing I have learnt, it's the importance of lifting people up, recognising the good things in life and sharing them with others...
Today's post is in collaboration with Carex who this year released their new super fun fragranced Love Hearts Hand Wash (£1.80); A moisturising PINK (oh ma gawsh) hand wash that keeps the skin soft, kills 99.9% of bacteria and smells like an absolute dream. As well as washing my mitts with this, I've been using it to wash my makeup brushes which, lemme tell ya, makes them smell incredible. The message of #ShareTheLove in this #LoveCarex campaign has inspired me to do just that and share with you some people, places and products that I've been loving recently and shine a little bit of light on those fantastic things in my life.
People | As mentioned in my October Gratitude List, life threw me a curveball at the end of last month which meant I had to make a few adjustments here and there. I owe my parents, partner and closest friends a huge thank you for being so supportive at this time. Their words of encouragement and endless love have made it all that easier. Once things are back on track, I'll be treating them to make sure they know that they are loved and appreciated. I feel so empowered from their love to go and take on the world so I am going to do just that!
Places | The past few weeks I have ventured off to Leeds and Manchester, but there's just something about my home town that makes me smile no-end. Middlesbrough gets a lot of stick in the media but it has improved so much over the past few years and is becoming one heck of a cool place. There are endless amounts of independent business' and eateries popping up and it makes me so inspired and proud to be from such an industrial town that creates tons of business-minded people who don't let the media stop them from doing their thing.
Products | Obviously, I have been loving this pink-fun-bottle-o-goodness! Soap is a daily ritual for everyone (or it should be!) and having it smell like sweets just makes a simple task so much brighter, especially when the smell lingers! I've also fell head over heels for the Urban Decay eye shadow in Solstice, ugh, this is the literal eye glossy, glittery dream! Watch this space for the look that I created with it! A blue-brown toned glitter that shimmers like there's no tomorrow, is it okay if I apply this all over my face?
It's nice to share the love and look at the little things that have made you happy and affected your mood. I'd love to know the smaller things in life that put a smile on your face. Perhaps it's the fact that you can totally watch Elf now and crack out a few mince pies? Erm, YES!
