I have noticed, especially as of recent, that I follow so many bloggers on my social media platforms. They are everywhere. I am forever engaging in lovely conversations on Twitter and scrolling through Instagram feeds seeing many-a-flatlay, despite that shitty algorithm (sort it will ya’). But how many of those blogger’s blogs do I read? Probably around 15%, if that. But, I don’t feel guilty because I simply don’t have the time to read everyone’s and I would like to think that nobody does but I’ve realised that most of the time, it’s the blogger that I’m interested in, the blog is simply a bonus.
Now I am not saying that their blogs aren’t worth reading, or that they don’t interest me, because they do and they totally are! I’ve just come to realize that I’m all for personality, and as of now, I fall in love with the bloggers and their blogs tend to come after. Which is totally strange, because it used to be the other way around. If they have a bangin’ blog I’ll be clicking through on a regular basis, but I’ve come to the conclusion that I just love the people behind them. I love engaging with them on social and having meaningful conversations. The rise of the blogger ‘personality’ is something I feel has taken the blogger-sphere by storm, and it’s not exactly a bad thing.
Take this whole
Why can’t we just celebrate each other? Each and every single individual for exactly who they are? I’m just getting tired of all the bullshit. Let’s stop talking relatability, and start talking connectivity, maybe that girl who likes her designer bag, loves the same TV shows as you…
