Life is like a Box of Chocolates

The world's gone crazy!
People are losing the plot over toilet paper rolls, and hand soap.
Countries are closing their borders, and there is a sense of urgency and uncertainty happening around us. I for one have never experienced anything like the strange feelings surrounding this rapid sense of global chaos.
The need to be at home suits me fine. I am a self-proclaimed home body at the best of times, but it is the forced sense of family isolation that causes me a tad amount of anxiety. I know it will all work out in the end, and I'm thankful that our Government hasn't completely closed down our country. Italy and other European Countries are on complete lockdown.
NB. The Italians are trying to make the most of what's going on in their communities, and trying to keep their morale up. Across neighbourhoods singing can be heard from the balconies of the many Italians attempting to not allow imposed isolation to stop them socialisation. Check out the video below.

As businesses close around our area, and people are being asked to isolate themselves to help prevent the spread of the Covid-19, it is vital that we are vigilant in doing what we are asked to do by the health department.
To keep our spirits up, it is important to try and keep our lives as normal as possible within the forced restrictions. It is so important to not allow fear dictate our decisions. We need to use common sense and make wise decisions regarding how we live our lives through this uncertain time.
I've been thinking about this a lot! I think it is vital that we keep our spirits up by making a plan. Make a list of things we want to do over the next couple of months while we figure out how to live through the
So I have come up with a list of things we should all consider through out this time.
1. Make sure we get sunshine. Sunshine and the outdoors are good for us.
2. Exercise!
3. Self care is important!
4. Read
5. Watch a tv series you have been wanting to watch for ever.
6. Find a project you want to do
7. Learn something new
8. Have friends over
9. Connect with family as often as possible.
10. Free online art classes with or for the kids
11. Board games with family and or friends.
12. Remember to be grateful. Maybe keep a diary throughout this time. A two sentence diary is a great way to document thoughts or feelings, and doesn't take long to do.
Covid-19 is serious, and we need to be vigilant in doing everything we can to keep ourselves healthy, but it is vital that we also keep up with our relationships with family and friends. Everyone responds to global chaos differently so keep calm, respect others, be kind, check on your neighbours, and enjoy your life. At some point in the next couple of weeks maybe months Covid-19 is going to be over, and hopefully (God willing) everything will be okay on the other side.
