From the leading brand of the Casual Chinese Restaurant in the metro, Lido Cocina Tsina brought their 15th branch in La Fuerza, Makati in July 8. This is in celebration of their 80th year of bringing authentic Chinese culinary brand to the Filipino palate. From its humble beginnings at esquinitas in Binondo, the Lido has evolved into a sophisticated choice to casual dining to please everyone’s craving for genuine Chinese cuisines.
Lido Cocina is known for its signature Pugon Roasted Asado. It was started when Mr. Lido basted a succulent loin of pork in careful and precise proportions and measurements of Chinese ingredients roasted the marinated loin in a pugon in just the right amount of heat to lock on the aromatic flavor. Today, everyone recognizes the creation for its distinct flavor.I really have a strong palate with Chinese food, and when it comes to authentic one, only Lido Cocina Tsina satisfies my hunger. Aside from the Pugon Roasted Asado (Php295.00), my personal favourites are Manchurian wings (Php295.00) which boasts a gingery oriental sauce that is both enjoyably spicy and sweet; 16 – spiced Shantung Pork (Php275.00) which is the most influential East Asian Cuisines, where the pork is seasoned with 16 kinds of spices ranging from mild to tasty spice concoction; and Druken Lechon Macau (Php290.00), from the name itself, the pork is immersed in premium flower wine and other spices that provide a balance of flavours.
