Lemoncreme with Strawberries

Last week I made this light lemon creme. It´s a perfect dessert for any summer meal and is prepared so easily. It also makes a great visual impact if you would like to impress your friends or family.

I added some strawberries and layered both, creme and strawberries in glasses. I just love layered desserts in glasses!!

Ingredients

  • 5 leaves of gelatin
  • 180ml of milk
  • 350ml heavy cream
  • 100g sugar
  • zest of 2 lemons
  • 8 tbs. lemon juice

Soak gelatin in cold water. Heat milk, 170ml of heavy cream and sugar in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil then add lemon zest and juice, also add soft soaked gelatin leaves and let it melt by string with a fork. Whip up the rest of the heavy cream and golf in lemon cream. Let creme cool in fridge for a couple of hours and voilà it´s ready to serve and enjoy!
