Fixed term for 11 months from 1 September 2014.

With a preference for a candidate who is able to teach Philosophy of Physics, you will be an active researcher, able to articulate, develop and enhance connections to existing research strengths in the Centre for History and Philosophy of Science within the School of PRHS. You will be developing a publication profile that will enhance the School’s research culture and enhance its international research profile. You will also have an ability to contribute to a range of research-led teaching in Philosophy and/or History and Philosophy of Science. The successful candidate will take on appropriate teaching responsibilities following discussion with the relevant Deputy Head of School.

A completed PhD in Philosophy of Science, History of Science or related cognate discipline is essential alongside good administrative, time management and IT skills.
