E! network talked to Ledisi on the red carpet to get her opinion of Beyoncé performing  ‘Take My Hand, Precious Lord,’ when she was the one who sung it in the movie Selma. Ledisi admitted that she “had no clue” why Beyoncé was performing it over her. But that’s not it. Check out what she had to say below.

“What I will say and what I’m excited about is that I had the pleasure of playing an iconic figure in Selma, and the song, ‘Take My Hand, Precious Lord,” it’s been going on forever.” To answer Ledisi question. I think that the Grammys wanted Beyoncé to perform because she would help bring in more ratings. Even though I think the Grammys should have stuck with the original singer and let Beyoncé perform 7/11.
