This week I had the privilege of playing with some Slider Bracelet samples by Cousin Corporation.   Members of the Designer Crafts Connection will be sharing various projects all week long featuring jewelry designs using the new Slider Bracelets.   What is a Slider Bracelet?  These are customizable bracelets that anyone can personalize and create by sliding a few charms and adding the end clasps of choice.   I decided to dress mine up just a bit and here are my direction.

#1.  Select leather bracelet, end clasps, and charms and any other embellishments.

#2.   Buff tiny bit of color onto leather bracelet sing Viva Décor US Inka-Gold.  I used the color Rose for this project.

#3.   Paint metal charms and end clasps using Viva Décor US Precious Metal Color.   I used a fine paintbrush to paint the tiny flower on the skull and then used my finger to buff a tiny bit of color onto remaining areas and pieces to just tint the metal rather than painting completely.   Add a drop of Viva Décor US Pearl Pen to center of flower on skull.

#4.   Allow to dry.  Trim bracelet to fit desired length.

#5.   Slide charms in place.   Using Helmar 450 Quick Dry, glue canvas flower directly to leather bracelet.

#6.   Using Helmar 450 Quick Dry, glue end clasps to leather ends and let dry completely.
