It’s that time of the year when we all start to talk about next-gen iPhones and iPads, again. So far, we know that Apple is making an entry-level cheaper iPhone with a plastic cover that would be released in several colors. What you’re seeing here is a leaked photo of the backside of those cheap, colorful iPhones. Well, at least that’s what it claims to be.
This pic was released from Chinese website Weiphone.com, claiming these are the next-gen colorful iPhones. It does looks like an iPhone 5. But then again, it could also be a pretty iPhone cover. Like Mashable says, “it’s an enigma wrapped in a rumor based on speculation”
A lot of analysts and experts, including T.H. Tung, CEO of Pegatron says the Apple’s low-cost iPhone won’t be very cheap. According to Information Week, he has said that “cheap is not a word that should ever be associated with Apple’s products”. So, don’t get your hopes up, unless you’re willing to spend about $300 for it.
