League of Legends 2 isn’t going to be a thing. Riot Games’ environment artist Brent Critchfield has made that very clear in a new interview,
Speaking with Polygon at E3 2014, Critchfield said, “I want my great grandchildren playing this game,” and added that Riot plans to add large, significant updates to the existing League of Legends to help it evolve with the times, rather than overhaul all of its work – which is clearly working, just look at the player numbers! – just to slap a number ’2′ on the end.
The game is still one of the favorites among the hardcore PC players, and it's not slowing down anytime soon.
