Much like the lovely Snow, I’m really into retro gaming. So today I’m going to show you how to do Pacman ghost nails.This is an idea I got from Pinterest, and have been desperate to try out for myself. It’s actually pretty simple to do – simple enough that I did it on my left hand. Seeing as they look so cute and kooky, I thought I’d show you the easy way to do it!
First, start by painting your nails in all different colours (think bright and neon) – Put on at least two coats so you get an even color.
Next, get a fine art brush (quite thin) and dip it in black nail polish. You could use a black nail art pen but I don’t have one so I used a brush. Carefully draw the OUTLINES of mini-triangles along the edge of your nail. Once the outlines are how you want them, color them in.
Then get some white nail polish, and VERY CAREFULLY drop two small spots onto each nail. These will be the whites of the eyes, so put them close together and roughly the same size. Wiggle the polish around a little bit until the droplets are in a sort of almond shape.
Wait until they are completely dry, and then dip your art brush in more black polish (or get your pen) and draw two black dots inside each white drop. Draw them all on the same side of the whites, so that your ghosts are all looking in the same direction!
Wait until they are completely dry before you put a top coat on, or it’ll be a god-awful mess. And that’s it, you’re done! Hope you like them! And thanks so much to everyone who commented on my internet nails, it gave me the warm fuzzies.
