Where is Lawapani Waterfall located?

Lawapani Waterfall is located in the Lohardaga district of Jharkhand. Lohardaga is a hub of iron-mining in Jharkhand and therefore the name means the 'center of iron-mining' where 'Lohar' means 'ironsmith' and 'Daga' means 'Center'. Lohardaga has also been mentioned in 'Ain-e-Akbari', a document portraying the Mughal empire under the rule of Akbar as 'Kismate Lohardaga'. Also, it is believed that Lord Mahavir visited Lohardaga as the Jain literature mentions his visit to 'Lore-a-Yadaga'.
