LAVA Launches Iris 465 with 21 Indian Language Support for Rs.4499

New Delhi, India, February 12, 2015: LAVA International Limited, a fast growing company in the mobile handset industry, today announced the launch of iris 465 a budget smartphone with 21 Indian language support. The smartphone is designed to meet the requirements of users looking for an all-round phone that empowers them to communicate with their near and dear ones in their own regional language.

The iris 465 supports the following languages- Hindi, Bodo, Sanskrit, Nepali, Marathi, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Bengali, Assamese, Maithili, Maniouri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Santali, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam, Kannada. The iris 465 is a 3G smartphone which runs on Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat, and comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) standby support. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM expandable up to 32GB storage expansion via microSD card.

The smartphone comes with a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with flash support and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera on board. The camera features face recognition, smile detection, self-timer & panorama mode.To fulfill the multimedia entertainment needs of consumers, iris 465 comes with a FM player, music& a video player. It packs a 1750mAh Li-Ion battery which can offer up to 22 hours and 58 minutes (2G) of talk time, and 10 hours and 41 minutes (3G) of talk time. The smartphone measures 134.4x68x10 mm and weighs 146 grams.
