Lauren and I have been dear friends since we were fourteen years old, back when I had braces and was still growing into my face. We passed notes in English class, graduated together, and got married two weeks apart. I love her a whole lot. Last weekend I flew down to LA to visit for her birthday and snapped these pictures of her and John as a little birthday gift. It was POURING rain all day, and just as we were about to claim defeat, the clouds parted and the sun popped out for twenty minutes. The sky was gooooorgeous.
