Laura Mercier Oil Free Supreme Foundation Review

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
Hey everyone!
How are you all?
Another day another review! Today, im reviewing the Laura Mercier Oil Free Supreme Foundation. You all will remember i did the moisture supreme foundation review not that long ago aswell so i know a lot of you will be excited to see what i think of this one.
First off, im not going to compare this to the moisture supreme, except that to say, i prefer the Oil Free supreme.
Right onto the review....
Laura Mercier Oil Free Supreme Foundation ReviewIn terms of texture, this has a thick consistency and like the name says, is completely oil free, however with that said, my skin still feels dewy and glowy in all the right proportions. In fact, i was really disappointed to read a few negative reviews about this on the laura mercier website. Some people have said this makes them feel greasy but this genuinely couldnt be further from the truth (for me) as long as you set your foundation, as you always should anyways, you shouldnt have any issues with oilyness. I wore this on a night out, and genuinely went from being hot, to cold, to roasting and back to cold again and not once did my makeup go oily or anything like that.
The coverage of this is fairly heavy, although for me i would say this has a medium coverage and is buildable to a full coverage. The foundation glides on and is really blendable which is so handy. Stubborn foundations bug my happiness!
To apply this to your face, i would highly recommend a stippling brush as it really helps to buff the foundation into the skin.
One thing i LOVE about this, is the color didnt adapt as the day went on. I LOATHE foundations that get 'warmer' in warm weather and 'cooler' in cold, i want my face makeup to look the same when i take it off, as it did when i first applied it.
Aside from that, this is my new favorite foundation and i would highly recommend this to anyone.
What have been your experiences with Laura Mercier foundations?
xxxx
