Hello Chickas!! Today I’ll be talking about an awesome product from Laura Mercier and it’s their Golden Mosaic Shimmer Bloc. This lovely treasure was sent to me by Adore Beauty. Shimmer Bloc is a unique baked formula that applies effortlessly while brightening the eyes, cheeks and body with a hint of natural color and light. Light-reflecting properties blend together to give the skin a healthy all-over glow. The modern wearable pearl leaves skin gleaming without being too frosty or metallic. Layer over Bronzing Gel or Tinted Moisturizer for a natural sheen.
How to use?
I usually use my angle or powder brush and swirl it around the pan to pick up all four colours. Then apply it around my face for the glowly look.
Why it’s fab?
- Blends easily – Using my Sigma angle brush, it blended so beautifully on my cheeks and around the face.
- Great pigmentation – This highlighter has good pigmentation, a few strokes on the cheeks is all you need and you’ll see the “glowiness”
- Multi purpose product – I’ve used this product as a blush, highlighter and eyeshadow. All work amazingly well.
- Texture – The powder is very fine and super creamy. When I swirl my brushes around the pan, there is no fall out.

Guys if you are looking for the dewy summer look, this product is for you. It gives your face that healthy glow and I’ve been getting some compliments at work on how healthy my skin is looking. You can use the colours separately or blend them all together. It works beautifully as a highlighter or a blush. I have pretty dry skin and this has not settled on my dry flakey spots so a winner for me!
