Several Thoughts...
Ben is going to take the spike.
His game arm will still be better than Peytons.
We still have three capable receivers who can cover for Antonio.
We have two capable runningbacks who can cover for Williams.
Even Laundrys' poor starts are encouraging compared to Peytons good starts.
No Scobee
No Jacoby
The Steelers Defence will show up and after the post game interviews, will kindly help Peyton rake his teeth up off the turf.
It's gonna be a "Punch In The Mouth" kinda game...
Well, I do have a feeling there exists a likely chance Landry Jones could start and/or play.
We do not know the status of Ben "for sure". Though what happens if he takes a hit or gets hurt? Enter Jones. How long could that be? I don't know. Jones has taken the reps in practice this week. Not a good sign that Ben is in any "good" condition. He could be on total fumes, but we don't know.
Anyway, I bet we do see Jones... though I hope not because Ben is really the hope Pittsburgh has on Sunday afternoon. Denver is too good. Only way I see Pittsburgh winning with Jones at QB is if Denver beats itself. That CAN happen, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. The Steelers have hope.
