Hmmm…which one should we start with?
I know, let’s talk about our favorite subject and object of our affections…ERIC! Here’s the latest Ask Ausiello from TV Line. Not, that there’s anything really new here which we haven’t already posted (trying to boost ratings Ausiello?)…but this is what was said;
Question: Alexander Skarsgard’s True Blood credits on IMDb only list Episode 2 of Season 7. Please tell me that this is a mistake and there will be more of Eric than that. —Linda
Ausiello: It’s a mistake and there will be more of Eric than that. A lot more of Eric. And if you’re a fan of Eric-Pam, then you’re going to love the July 20 episode. I’ve got two words for you, one of them is “trip” and the other is “road.”Question: Where has Anna Camp been on True Blood this season? I need my Sarah Newlin fix! —Jason
Ausiello: My favorite vampire exterminator is back in this week’s episode. And as we told you back in February, the show will be introducing us to Sarah’s Texas socialite parents and angry, bitter, gothed-out sister at some point this season (perhaps as early as Sunday).
You see? IMDb isn’t ALWAYS accurate. I wonder if this “trip” and “road” will happen to take them to Dallas? I guess Ausiello is a little slow on THAT info. ;) LOL As for Sarah Newlin…I hope her family is as entertaining as she is.

The ratings are IN! Let’s see how well True Blood fared in the ratings, shall we? This is what TVbytheNumbers had to say about the ratings race from this past Sunday.
True Blood notched 3.1 million viewers for its first airing, down from the 4 million viewers that tuned in for the premiere last week. Including a repeat airing True Blood notched 3.5 million total viewers.
OUCH! They took a nose-dive! They couldn’t even reach 4 million TOTAL!
Mind you, they were still tops in the age 18-49 category – right behind the World Cup and BET Awards…and since those aren’t on every week – you can’t really compare them – BUT they still lost viewers. I wonder why…? (I know the reason…but feel free to join in my glee.)

I think my favorite quote from this is;
Con: Sookie takes the law enforcement back to the body she found in the woods and quotes something she read off a tombstone (believe it) about the brutal indifference of life. Hey Sooks, where was your compassion for this poor soul when you stumbled over her cold, dead body the previous night and decided, “No, no, first I need some Jack Daniels and some sex, and then I’ll report to the authorities about the poor dead girl in my backyard. I’m sure the coyotes won’t eat her face off too much for an open casket funeral.” Please, someone, please call her out on this bullshit.
