Hello everyone!
For the first time since last year, I travelled outside of Winnipeg. It was a short day trip to Hecla Island. I say "short" because I would have stayed there for days!
Named after Mount Hekla, a volcano in Iceland, Hecla Island (Grindstone Provincial Park) is located a 2-hour drive away from the 'Peg. I spent some time at Sunset Beach and the Gull Harbour Marina. I also enjoyed the views at the North Shore and wetland boardwalks. And of course, there were lighthouses!
There were so many things to see that I missed a few spots, including the quarry and the village. But I will be back!

Latest interviews
I was recently featured in two interviews. One was with my business partner David Ellis. We talked about poetry and writing on Manju's blog.
The second interview was a solo feature for FindIndieBooks.com. Questions were also about poetry, but I had the opportunity to talk about FPoint Collective and Auroras & Blossoms, and share some advice to novice writers.
