Skipping the blog for two days felt like a bit of fresh air. Everyone needs a little break sometimes. Especially in this universe of constant connectivity that we now live in.

I hate the fact that I can no longer wear jeans to work. Not even on Fridays. Boo.

I really ought not complain because I also no longer have students on Fridays with the exception of about 4-6 students who need to come in the mornings for assessments. Friday afternoons are reserved for meetings and paperwork. It's awfully nice to have that time.

Ace and Ky both got haircuts yesterday and they are so flippin' cute! Plus, I love that Ace's hair is so much easier to do now (it's about shoulder length).

I tried to get a good picture of them after said haircuts and they just weren't having it. I'll try again later. Sorry friends!

I hate that the moment I get a paycheck, it lasts for about a day before it's all gone. But I'm grateful that we can pay all of our bills.

We did not make it to the Springs Preserve yesterday due to poor weather conditions and we were all pretty bummed about that.

Otherwise, I enjoyed the rain and the break from triple-digit temperatures yesterday. I'm hoping maybe we'll get another overcast day today.
