Biggest winner of the day was Naughty Dog. The American game maker received 10 major awards for its’ hit zombie thriller, The Last of Us. The awards include – Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Story, Outstanding Innovation in Gaming, Adventure Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction, Outstanding Character Performance and more.

My personal favorite, Bioshock Infinite was also honored with Action Game of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition awards. In addition, Plants vs. Zombies 2 took home the awards for Casual Game of the Year and Mobile Game of the Year, while Diablo III take the Role Playing Game of the year. Rockstar was merited with Outstanding Achievement in Gameplay Engineering for making Grand Theft Auto V as it is.
