Last Minute Gift Idea #1
With Christmas looming in the near horizon, I'm sure many of you are starting to panic about not having got your shopping done earlier, so I thought I would help you in the next couple of days by posting some present idea related posts. First up, is these gorgeous miniatures of the signature Marc Jacobs Perfumes, Daisy Eau so Fresh, Dot, Daisy and Lola, which are all equally loved in the blogging community, so you know they are going to be good!
It's always fun with presents to be able to try something that you may not have necessarily picked out for yourself, but buying someone a perfume can be pretty risky as you don't know whether the recipient will actually like and use it. That's why I think that these minis are the perfect answer to the solution, as they allow them to try out four different perfumes, but there is no massive loss if they decide that one of them is not quite for them ... and if they love them, great! Next years birthday present is sorted!
Another thing that I love about these little minis is that they are perfect for everyday; their small size (4ml each) means that they are perfectly proportioned for popping in your bag so you can top up throughout the day, but their beautiful designs, inspired by their original bottles, means that they would look beautiful sitting on a dressing table too, unlike the more conventional rollerballs of other perfumes.
I would say that this present is probably best aimed at the younger woman, since these are all quite light, fruity scents, but then again it all depends on personal preferences and I'm sure anyone would love them! I picked mine up in Duty Free, but I've seen them stocked in a couple of perfume shops too so it may be worth googling to see if you can pick some up for yourself!
What do you think of this gift idea, would you like to receive it?
